The Role:

Grant Writing: Prepare and write grant applications, ensuring that all program requirements are met and that the submission is aligned with company goals.

Project Coordination: Oversee aspects of project management related to grant implementation, ensuring clear reporting in funding claims, project status reports, and final reports.

Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the point of contact between funding agencies, project partners, and internal teams, ensuring smooth and effective communication.

Integration with Existing Projects: Collaborate with internal teams to integrate grant projects with ongoing initiatives, identifying synergies and linking activities across the company.

Scenario Development: Generate project implementation scenarios and plans, considering the integration of grant projects into the overall business strategy.

Requirements:

  • High Attention to Detail: Ability to review and ensure compliance with all grant program requirements.

  • Project Management Skills: Capable of managing multiple projects at once, with a focus on reporting requirements and deadlines.

  • Grant Writing Experience: Proven experience in drafting and submitting successful grant applications, preferably in the agriculture, sustainability, or environmental sectors.

  • Understanding of Dairy Farming: Knowledge of the dairy farming industry, including GHG challenges, sustainability practices, and sector-specific benefits.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders, including funding bodies and internal teams, to ensure alignment and success.

  • Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines.

  • Creative Integration: Skilled at combining ideas from different projects and identifying opportunities for synergy.

  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust plans and proposals based on project needs or external changes.
